20 steps to living silly-ly
Here are 20 steps that I reconned somewhere on the internet. Even though I called them "steps," order of execution does not matter.
- Take yourself out for dinner. No phone, just a notebook.
- Go to the cinema alone. Stay in your seat after it ends.
- Pick a nearby town you've never visited. No agenda, just show up.
- Go a full day with no phone.
- Take a long solo walk and record voice notes as you go. Don't edit. Just talk.
- Write a one-page vision for your life. Read it every morning for 7 days.
- Train for something physical that scares you a little. (half-marathon, Hyrox etc.)
- Cook a three-course meal just for yourself. Set the table properly.
- Declutter 100 items from your space.
- Keep a handwritten journal for 30 davs
- Start a 30-day challenge: gym, cold showers, meditation. Pick one and don't break the chain.
- Go on an "Artist Date": 2 hours alone doing something creative you'd never normally do.
- Memorize a poem or a passage that means something to you.
- Write a letter to someone who changed your life. You don't have to send it.
- A full day with no complaining. Track how often you catch yourself.
- Introduce yourself to 3 strangers in one day. Not networking, just genuine curiosity.
- One act of anonymous generosity. Don't post about it (e.g. paying for someone's coffee
- Rawdog somewhere in nature for an hour with nothing to do. Just be there.
- Go to a live event alone: concert, comedy, theatre. Any genre you'd normally dismiss.
- Learn one dance move. Practice it until it feels natural and pull it out when its unexpected.
