20 steps to living silly-ly

Here are 20 steps that I reconned somewhere on the internet. Even though I called them "steps," order of execution does not matter.

  1. Take yourself out for dinner. No phone, just a notebook.
  2. Go to the cinema alone. Stay in your seat after it ends.
  3. Pick a nearby town you've never visited. No agenda, just show up.
  4. Go a full day with no phone.
  5. Take a long solo walk and record voice notes as you go. Don't edit. Just talk.
  6. Write a one-page vision for your life. Read it every morning for 7 days.
  7. Train for something physical that scares you a little. (half-marathon, Hyrox etc.)
  8. Cook a three-course meal just for yourself. Set the table properly.
  9. Declutter 100 items from your space.
  10. Keep a handwritten journal for 30 davs
  11. Start a 30-day challenge: gym, cold showers, meditation. Pick one and don't break the chain.
  12. Go on an "Artist Date": 2 hours alone doing something creative you'd never normally do.
  13. Memorize a poem or a passage that means something to you.
  14. Write a letter to someone who changed your life. You don't have to send it.
  15. A full day with no complaining. Track how often you catch yourself.
  16. Introduce yourself to 3 strangers in one day. Not networking, just genuine curiosity.
  17. One act of anonymous generosity. Don't post about it (e.g. paying for someone's coffee
  18. Rawdog somewhere in nature for an hour with nothing to do. Just be there.
  19. Go to a live event alone: concert, comedy, theatre. Any genre you'd normally dismiss.
  20. Learn one dance move. Practice it until it feels natural and pull it out when its unexpected.
